Description: Our flagship full-day class covers all you need to know to prepare yourself or your client to bid at a Public Trustee Sale. Class begins shortly before the start of an actual Public Trustee auction giving students the opportunity to witness the process in action. At the conclusion of the sale questions are answered and we begin to demystify the process through traditional instruction illustrated by real-life examples.
Topics covered include:
• Rules applicable to all Colorado counties
• Resources for foreclosure property data (dates, property information, etc.)
• Investor strategies to buy a distressed property before, at, and after the auction
• Qualification process in the extremely short period of time – in detail
• Preparing to bid
• Bid Requirements
• Redemptions - Even if the property was sold to a 3rd party bidder at auction, it's not over!
• Risks involved with buying at auction
• Ways to protect yourself
• Items you have to pay for
• Latest eviction rules
• Ways to finance foreclosure purchases and protect your lender
• Ways brokers can make a commission by representing foreclosure auction buyers
• much more!
This class caters to people at all levels of knowledge and experience. Lunch and materials are provided.
